Statewide Test Prep Resource Helps Illinois Students' ACT Preparation

Attention Students! We at the Illinois Student Assistance Commission (ISAC) are excited to provide you with IllinoisMentor Test Prep, an online resource designed to help you achieve higher scores on the ACT ™, SAT® and GRE®. In addition to a variety of college planning tools, including online admission applications and electronic transcript exchange, IllinoisMentor, the interactive module of collegezone.com, now also offers comprehensive test preparation courses for the standard college entrance exams.  

Find the following at IllinoisMentor's Test Prep module:

  • ACT - tests your knowledge of four ACT subject areas: English, Reading, Math and Science Reasoning
  • SAT - tutorials, practice sessions and test-taking tips help you prepare for the test
  • GRE - tools to help you study for the Graduate Record Examination for graduate school admission
  • Vocab Builder - contains over 2,000 vocabulary words and adapts to your ability level
