Information Available Regarding Programs for Veterans and Those Currently in Military Service

If you are an Illinois veteran, a current member of the U.S. Armed Forces or Illinois National Guard, or an individual who is considering the military, check out the Military Service area within the Student Zone at collegezone.com. You'll find links to information about programs administered by the Illinois Student Assistance Commission (ISAC), the State of Illinois, the federal government, and/or other organizations. Student loan repayment options are also discussed.

The Military Service area is updated as new programs become available, so be sure to check back periodically. Recent additions include the Fallen Heroes Scholarship, which is offered by the Illinois State Treasurer's Office.
