College Admissions
So, what are colleges most interested in seeing? For most colleges, it’s the types of courses you took and the grades you’ve received. Your ACT and/or SAT I score(s) will also come into play. Once colleges have compared you to other students by these numbers, they then look for what really makes you stand out—your extra-curricular activities and community involvement. Also, your letters of recommendation, admissions essay(s) and interviews are important because they focus solely on what makes you unique as a student.
