Involvement / Interests
Your school is a great resource to practice your unique skills and talents. Perhaps you enjoy leading others in class projects. Or you enjoy writing, drawing or music. Maybe you’re even a hometown, sports all-star. Whatever they may be, you have talents that make you different from everybody else. These next few years are a great time for you to develop those talents.

Junior high and high school are full of opportunities to join or lead clubs, student government, sports teams and more. Plus, you can gain valuable experience volunteering at churches, soup kitchens, charity groups and more. These talents and experiences will help you get into college. Better yet, they may even help you choose your career.
