Program Overview

The Bonus Incentive Grant (BIG) Program provides an additional financial incentive to encourage the use of Illinois College Savings Bond proceeds from matured bonds at Illinois colleges and universities.

Incentives range from $40 to $440 (per $5,000 of compound accreted value) depending on when the bond matures.  The grant is funded by appropriations from the Illinois General Assembly.
