General Instructions
By completing this application you are applying for the Illinois Future Teacher Corps (IFTC) Program or the Minority Teachers of Illinois (MTI) Scholarship or both.  In any academic year, should an applicant be determined eligible for both the IFTC Program and the MTI Scholarship, the applicant may only accept and receive assistance under one of these teacher education scholarship programs. If you are applying for both programs, you must indicate on the Program Selection Screen which program you will accept in the event that you are awarded in both programs. 

Before completing this application, be sure to review the Eligibility Requirements of the program(s) for which you are applying (IFTC / MTI).  You are encouraged to carefully review all the information provided in the menu options appearing along the left margin of the screen.

Specific instructions for each item of this application may be accessed by holding your cursor over the specific field titles for which you need information.
