When deciding where to attend graduate or professional school, you shouldn’t necessarily have to worry about cost. Yes, earning an advanced degree can be expensive. But with the right planning and financial resources, you can successfully fund your higher education and hopefully realize a substantial return on your investment.
You (and your spouse, if you are married) have the primary responsibility of paying for your higher education. Sometimes, however, a family's resources are not enough to pay all expenses related to obtaining an advanced degree. Different types of financial aid are available to help a family meet the costs of higher education, which include direct education costs (such as tuition, fees, and books) and indirect costs (things like personal living expenses, food, housing, and transportation)
