College Admissions
So, what are colleges most interested in seeing? For most colleges, it’s the types of courses you took and the grades you received in high school, and any college-course work you’ve completed. Your ACT and/or SAT I score(s) will also come into play. Once colleges have compared you to other students by these numbers, they then look for what really makes you stand out—your extra-curricular activities and community involvement. Also, your letters of recommendation, admissions essay(s) and interviews are important because they focus solely on what makes you unique as a student.
