Illinois Students May Soon Pay Discounted Tuition at Some Midwest Colleges
2/12/2007

According to a February 12, 2007 Chicago Sun-Times article, Illinois joined the Midwest Student Exchange Program last December. Under this program, students from participating states can attend certain colleges in other participating states for a reduced out-of-state tuition rate. The article notes that, before Illinois students will be able to qualify for the reduced costs at participating schools, at least one college in Illinois must offer discounted tuition to students from other participating states.

The article is available at the Chicago Sun-Times Web site.
