MP3 Players Being Used as Educational Resource
2/7/2007

A February 6, 2007 article from The Associated Press reports that many schools, textbook publishers, and other companies are utilizing the fact that MP3 players (such as iPods) are popular among students. An increasing number of course lectures, notes, and even textbooks are being produced in an electronic format that can be easily downloaded to portable MP3 players. The volume of downloadable material for students is on the rise, from the elementary school level through college. Due to the higher cost of downloadable material, however, not all students are able to access it.
