Graduates Offer College Students Advice for Controlling Educational Debt

A January 31, 2007 article from USA Today provides advice from several college graduates regarding ways to limit the amount of debt incurred while completing a college education. While the majority of individuals surveyed by USA Today indicated that their college experience was worth the cost, many also said that - given a second chance - they would do more to control their debt. Suggestions for current college students include avoiding the use of credit cards, considering less expensive schools, and thoroughly reading and understanding all terms prior to signing for a private loan.
