Annual National School Crime and Safety Report Released

Indicators of School Crime and Safety: 2006, a joint effort of the Bureau of Justice Statistics and National Center for Education Statistics, is available at the U.S. Department of Education (ED) Institute of Education Sciences (IES) Web site. The report provides detailed statistical data regarding the nature of crime in U.S. schools.
