Many College Students Gain Experience Through Co-op Programs

An August 25, 2006 article from Fox News highlights the fact that students at several colleges gain valuable practical experience by participating in cooperative (co-op) programs. Through co-op programs, college students earn money while getting full-time, real world experience in their field. More than half of those students who participate eventually accept permanent positions with their co-op employers.
