Higher Education Costs Continue to Increase

According to an August 17, 2006 CNN/Money article, the cost of higher education is expected to increase during the 2006-07 academic year. Based on a survey of ten colleges representing different geographic locations and sizes, increases are anticipated for tuition and fees, room and board, and books and supplies. As has been the case in recent years, the highest increases are expected for out-of-state students attending public colleges.
