ISBE Grants Help School Districts Strengthen Arts and Foreign Language Programs

A July 27, 2006 press release from the Illinois State Board of Education (ISBE) announces that 38 Illinois school districts will be sharing over $1 million in grants, to be used for strengthening arts education and foreign language programs. ISBE awarded the grants in partnership with the Illinois Arts Council. The press release includes a listing of those Illinois school districts that have been awarded grants.
