Some Student Loan Borrowers Consider Consolidating Prior to July 1st

A recent article from the Quincy Herald-Whig (Quincy, Illinois) reminds student loan borrowers that the interest rates for Stafford and PLUS loans will increase on July 1st. Consequently, some borrowers are choosing to consolidate their educational loans by June 30th in order to lock in the lower interest rates for their existing
loan(s). Borrowers are encouraged to talk with their lenders to discuss whether loan consolidation is the best option for them.
