Digital Forensics Courses Gain Popularity on College Campuses

A June 6, 2006 article from USA Today reports that digital forensics classes are among the fastest growing on college campuses across the country. Focusing on the use of digitally stored evidence, the high interest in digital forensics is a direct result of computer-related crimes. In addition to learning how to properly handle electronically-stored evidence, digital forensics students also receive tips on how to present the information effectively during court testimony. Several government agencies and private-sector employers are seeking individuals with a background in digital forensics.
