Graduating from College Can Be Expensive
5/4/2006

A May 3, 2006 Associated Press article discusses the costs that families incur when a student graduates from college. The Connecticut family of a Boston University senior, spotlighted in the article, estimates that they will spend approximately $1,100 on graduation-related expenses. While families have a choice regarding whether to purchase items such as class rings or personalized invitations, some expenses - such as cap and gown rental or travel costs for out-of-state family members - may be unavoidable.
