Poll Shows Many Parents Not Saving for Future College Costs

A March 28, 2006 article from The Wall Street Journal indicates that, according to a recent personal-finance poll, nearly 33% of parents who anticipate paying at least a portion of their child's college costs have yet to start saving for those expenses. More than 550 parents and legal guardians of children aged 18 or younger were surveyed. Included with the article are the full results of the WSJ.com/Harris Interactive poll.
