Higher Education Awareness Campaign Being Launched During NCAA Tournaments

According to a March 14, 2006 article from USA Today, education leaders are using the National Collegiate Athletic Association (NCAA) men's and women's Division 1 basketball tournaments to launch a multi-year "Solutions for Our Future" campaign. Humorous public service announcements, aimed at raising awareness regarding the many contributions higher education makes to society, will begin to air on Thursday. Coordinated by the American Council on Education (ACE), the campaign seeks to foster an appreciation regarding the importance of providing sufficient funding for higher education.
