Debate Regarding Appropriate Use of Technology in the Classroom
3/9/2006

According to a March 8, 2006 article from NBC News, there is growing debate across the country regarding the appropriate use of technology in the classroom. Some educators contend that allowing access to the Internet to look up test answers enhances students' educational experience by teaching them how best to utilize available resources; others believe the practice is cheating. Experts indicate that, because technology such as the Internet is still relatively new, not enough data is yet available to determine its overall impact on education.

The article is available at the MSNBC Web site.
