President Bush Signs Deficit Reduction Act of 2005

A February 8, 2006 Fact Sheet from the Office of the Press Secretary announces that President Bush has signed The Deficit Reduction Act of 2005 into law. As part of its provisions to restrain federal spending, the new law includes changes to federal student loan programs.
