A webcast entitled "Improving Access to College: Preparing for Education Beyond High School" can be accessed via the U.S. Department of Education (ED) Web site. The hour-long program, originally broadcast on January 17, 2006, is the latest installment in ED's monthly "Education News Parents Can Use" series. Parents are provided with tips to help prepare children academically for higher education, as well as ways to make college attainable and affordable.
The webcast, along with program details, may be accessed via the "Previous Broadcasts" section of ED's Video Webcast Access Center.
