Placing Retired Veterans into Illinois Classrooms

A November 8, 2005 press release announces that information regarding the Illinois Troops to Teachers Program is featured at the Illinois State Board of Education (ISBE) Web site. ISBE is working with this federally funded program to place former military personnel into Illinois classrooms, allowing students to benefit from retired veterans' knowledge and experience.
