Colleges across the country will observe Constitution Day for the first time this year, following passage of a bill requiring all schools that receive federal funding to do so. In observance of the "birthday" of the Constitution of the United States on September 17th, colleges will fulfill their requirements in a number of different ways. From educational programs about the Constitution to celebrations with bands and cake, to discussions of current political topics to a debate whether the bill is even constitutional, the ways in which campuses choose to comply will be varied.
Read more about the celebrations being planned in the article available on the Inside Higher Ed Web site.
