In a May 11, 2005 article, USA Today announces the 20 students named to the 2005 All-USA High School Academic First Team. As part of its recognition program for outstanding high school students, USA Today will award each of these students with a trophy and a $2,500 cash award. Members of the First Team were selected from a group of over 1,600 nominees from across the country. The article includes links to brief biographies for each of the First Team members, as well as to lists of those students who were named to the Second and Third Teams.
