Projected Demographic Shifts May Impact College Recruitment

A March 10, 2008 article from The Washington Post reports that higher education experts are anticipating an overall decrease in college applicants in upcoming years, due mainly to the fact that there will be fewer high school graduates. Of the available pool of high school graduates, a greater number will represent minority groups that, traditionally, have been less likely to attend college.
