Interactive Practice Tests Help Illinois Students Prepare for 2008 ISAT

The Illinois State Board of Education (ISBE) announces in a March 3, 2008 press release that, in preparation for the Illinois Standards Achievement Test (ISAT) being administered to students over the next several weeks, more than 360,000 online interactive ISAT practice tests have been accessed. Since being made available to Illinois students in early February, the practice tests have been accessed at rates averaging 3,000 per hour during the school day, and 100 per hour on evenings and weekends. The ISAT will be administered at Illinois schools through March 21st, with results being released this fall as part of the 2008 school, district and state Report Card.
