New Loan Program Helps College Seniors in Illinois Complete Their Degrees

A February 8, 2008 article from the Peoria Journal Star spotlights two college seniors from Peoria, Illinois who were the first to utilize the College Illinois! Capstone (SM) Loan Program to complete their degrees. The Capstone program, currently in a pilot phase, is administered by the Illinois Student Assistance Commission (ISAC). To date, over $1.1 million have been provided via more than 300 loans.
