ISBE Names Winners of 2007 Homeless Education Poster Contest

A November 20, 2007 press release announces that the Illinois State Board of Education (ISBE) honored winners of the first Homeless Education Poster Contest at an awards luncheon in Springfield. In conjunction with National Hunger and Homeless Awareness Week, Illinois 5th- through 12th-grade students submitted posters focusing on the impact that homelessness has on families, children and youth in education.
