Students Leave More than Memories on College Campuses

As college students graduate or head home for the summer, many leave unwanted possessions behind. Rather than paying to have the items - which often include gently used clothing, books, appliances and electronic equipment - hauled away, some colleges are instead donating them (or the proceeds from their sale) to local charities.
