U.S. Secretary of Education Comments on National Charter Schools Week

According to an April 30, 2007 press release from the U.S. Department of Education (ED), President Bush has proclaimed April 30 - May 5, 2007 to be National Charter Schools Week. The press release includes a statement from U.S. Secretary of Education Margaret Spellings, as well as a link to her remarks from the 2007 National Charter Schools Conference in Albuquerque, New Mexico.
