You've likely seen various items in the news recently, discussing how the current credit crunch may impact the availability of education loans for college students and their families. We are happy to inform you that the Illinois Student Assistance Commission (ISAC), along with our partners in the lending community and the U.S. Department of Education (ED), are working together to ensure that Illinois families will continue to have access to the Federal Family Education Loan Program (FFELP) loan funds they need to pay their college expenses. |
