Involvement / Interests
Your student’s involvement in extra-curricular activities and volunteer experiences are important for the future. Clubs, sports and group-involvement teach participants a great deal about themselves and help them with social development and teamwork. Plus, internships and jobs teach them responsibility and work ethic. All of these things are important when applying for jobs, helping recruiters to differentiate your student from the other applicants. Interviewers are also interested in your student’s interests, talents and skills. These qualities and experiences will not only help your student become a unique individual, but will also help colleges determine what makes your student exceptional and qualified for their available job positions. Also, your student’s talents and skills may even help pay for college through talent-based scholarships or grants.
