Freedom of Information Act (FOIA) Requests
The Illinois Student Assistance Commission (ISAC) is the state agency responsible for administering an extensive array of student financial aid programs for the state of Illinois, including administration of the Monetary Award Program Grant (MAP) and the College Illinois!® 529 Prepaid Tuition Program (Program). ISAC is governed by a ten (10) member commission appointed by the Governor (hereinafter referred to as the "Commission"). Under the leadership of Andrew A. Davis, ISAC's Executive Director, is ISAC's staff of approximately 367 who are housed in one of three ISAC offices located in Deerfield (319 employees), Springfield (19 employees) and Chicago Illinois (29 employees), respectively. ISAC also administers student loans - both Illinois direct loans and Federally guaranteed student loans.

Reports and documents can be requested via a Freedom of Information Act (FOIA) request to ISAC's FOIA Officer, Karen L. Salas, by following these instructions:
