POSITION ANNOUNCEMENT PRINCIPAL ADMINISTRATIVE APPOINTMENT
Manager of Sales and Marketing
Primary Purpose of the Position
Under the administrative direction of the Managing Director of Marketing and Communications, this position is responsible for marketing and sales of College Illinois! (our prepaid tuition program) to the public.
Duties and Responsibilities
· Promote College Illinois! program to the general public · Promote College Illinois! program to schools, community groups, churches, financial planners, employers, etc. · Develop and present public presentations as requested by outside groups · Follow-up with prospective purchasers requesting a private consultation. · Assist at promotional events where College Illinois! has a presence i.e., Kids Expo, Baby Fairs, etc. · Assist with responses to customer inquiries regarding the program via email and live chat. · Participate in strategic planning and project management for marketing and sales initiatives.
Qualifications
· Undergraduate degree in Finance or related business discipline · 5 years minimum experience in outside sales in finance or banking-related field. · Ability to prepare and review work papers and technical documentation. · Ability to write and communicate effectively. · Strong project management skills. · Ability to exercise independent judgment.
