  • Illinois Veteran Grant (IVG) Program
Please be aware that a qualified applicant must notify their college of their eligibility status as soon as possible, but no later than the last scheduled date of classes for the term for which the grant is requested. It is the applicant's responsibility to obtain and submit all required documentation to allow the application to be processed within the required time. We recommend that all applicants carefully review the "Illinois Veteran Grant (IVG) Program" page, located under "Grants" in the Financing sections of the Student Zone, prior to completing the application.

  • Bonus Incentive Grant (BIG)
The 2009-10 BIG application will remain available to download and print until funds have been depleted. Because funding is limited, it is anticipated that not all applicants will receive funding. Complete applications, therefore, should be submitted (via fax or mail) as soon as possible.  In order to be considered for funding, all sections of the application must be complete, including certification of enrollment from a representative from the college Registrar’s office. Complete applications will be processed according to the date they are received at the Deerfield office of the Illinois Student Assistance Commission (ISAC). Incomplete applications will be returned to the student beneficiary and will not be considered until complete. Please allow at least five (5) business days after the date your application has been submitted before calling ISAC to check on the receipt of your application. The latest information regarding this program, including information about funding, can be found at the College Zone "College Savings Bond Bonus Incentive Grant (BIG) Program" page, located under "Grants" in the Financing section of the Student Zone.
