After the State Scholar appeal period expires (typically in January), ISAC provides Illinois colleges and universities the opportunity to order listing of names of State Scholar Finalists for recruitment purposes. Mailing labels (in ZIP Code order) of State Scholars’ are also available from ISAC, at cost, to Illinois colleges, universities and associations of these institutions. Requestors of labels shall provide written assurance to ISAC that the labels will not be resold or released to others in any manner.
High School Counselors and Regional Superintendents are also offered the same opportunity to order listings or mailing labels for State Scholars within the school district and/or region. These lists are often helpful in notifying local media of student accomplishments in your area. With your initiative, students can be recognized locally for their academic achievement. In accordance with the Privacy Act of 1974, we remind you that if listings are sent to the media, Social Security Numbers must not be included.
