At the end of each academic year, an Illinois Special Education Teacher Tuition Waiver (SETTW) Program Enrollment Status Verification for Compliance roster is sent to the postsecondary school from ISAC, along with a cover letter explaining what is needed and the due date for providing the information. The institution verifies that the individuals who were previously awarded SETTW were enrolled during that academic year.
The roster is completed by entering one of the enrollment verification codes for the current academic year listed below and a status date (for all codes except "I") for each recipient. If the Enrollment Status code is anything other than "I", return the Tuition Waiver Conversion Form (TWCF).

An Illinois SETTW Program Enrollment Status Verification Form must be completed and returned to ISAC with the SETTW Program Enrollment Status Verification for Compliance roster.
If the institution indicates on the SETTW Program Enrollment Status Verification for Compliance roster that the student did not receive the waiver for that academic year, the SETTW Tuition Waiver Conversion Form (TWCF) must be completed and returned to ISAC (instructions for completion appear on the back of the form).
The TWCF is sent to the institution in the academic year the student first accepts the waiver and is used to track the recipient’s usage of the waiver. The school completes the form by indicating the amount of tuition and mandatory fees waived each academic year. The institution also indicates why the recipient is no longer eligible for the waiver (e.g., changed majors, graduated, transferred, etc.).
If the student has transferred to another eligible institution, the TWCF should be sent to that institution.
