Application
The 2010-11 Illinois Special Education Teacher Tuition Waiver (SETTW) Application is available to print from CollegeZone. For priority consideration, ISAC must receive a complete application postmarked on or before March 1, 2010. Refer to the Application Procedures for SETTW within this section, to learn more about the application process.
2009-10
The Illinois Special Education Teacher Tuition Waiver Program (SETTW) is a tuition waiver for attendance at public universities in Illinois. 2009-10 awards are not subject to annual appropriations by the Illinois General Assembly and the Governor.
Verification Rosters and Certification Forms
The 2009-10 SETTW Verification Rosters and Certification forms listing the students who were included in the second round of awarding, were mailed to colleges on November 20, 2009 and are due back to ISAC on or before January 15, 2010. The verification roster is used to verify enrollment and program eligibility for each qualified applicant selected to receive a tuition waiver who indicated on the application that they would attend your school during the 2009-10 academic year.
Refer to the Tuition Waiver Process in the SETTW section, for a sample roster, instructions for certifying eligibility for the tuition waiver, an example of the cover letter, and a blank Tuition Waiver Conversion Form (TWCF). Information about enrollment verification and teaching requirements is also available within this SETTW section.
Award Determination
The second round of awarding for SETTW for the 2008-09 academic year took place on November 20, 2009. Award Notifications and Rights and Responsibilities forms for the SETTW program were mailed to eligible students.

Application
ISAC is no longer accepting applications for the 2009-10 Illinois SETTW Program. The application for the 2010-11 academic year is scheduled to be available at College Zone in December 2009.
