The FY2012 appropriation for the Illinois National Guard Grant Program is $4.4 million.
Payment
The 2011-12 fall term ING Grant payment rosters are available at My Zone. There are no changes to the content or the format of the 2011-12 ING online payment process. ING payment claims must be submitted electronically no later than 30 calendar days for an initial roster and 45 days for a supplemental roster after payment requests are available at My Zone (date on roster).

Announcement Roster
Effective August 4, 2011, the Illinois National Guard (ING) Grant Announcement Rosters for the 2011-12 academic year are available online at My Zone. The ING Grant Announcement Roster provides information for each applicant who has applied for the ING Grant with your institution listed as the college of record, and for whom the Illinois Department of Military Affairs (IDMA) has confirmed eligibility as of the date printed at the top of the first page of the roster. This initial set of 2011-12 rosters (dated August 3, 2011) corresponds to student letters dated August 3.

Interactive Application
The online interactive 2011-12 Illinois National Guard (ING) Grant application is available to students. The academic year field will default to 2011-12 when the application is launched. Remind applicants in the Air National Guard that they must provide the base on the application.

Refer to the Application Procedures for the ING Grant page within this section of the FAA Zone, for an overview of the online application process, application confirmation information, deadline dates a sample of the acknowledgement e-mail and a link to the interactive ING Application.
To receive full-year consideration for the 2011-12 ING Grant Program, ISAC must receive an application on or before October 1, 2011. The spring term application priority consideration date is on or before March 1, 2012. For summer-term consideration only, applications must be received on or before June 15, 2012.
