The FY08 budget (2007-08 academic year) signed by the governor included level funding to ISAC for IVG. However, an additional appropriation was made to the Illinois Community College Board (ICCB) to cover some of the institutions' remaining costs.
Schools submit claims to ISAC as usual. Payment of the claims will be handled as follows:
- Fall term: Timely fall term payment claims are being prorated at 86.3 %. ISAC will forward to ICCB the amount that each community college was not paid. ICCB will then handle paying the community colleges from their appropriation.
- Spring term: After the spring term payment claim deadline date of May 25, 2008, ISAC will forward information to ICCB as to how much each community college submitted in timely claims for spring term. They will determine the amount to be paid for spring term claims, depending on the remaining level of their appropriation, and will pay the schools.
- Late Claims: If any ICCB funds remain after timely spring term claims are paid, late claims would be considered for payment.
