Illinois Teachers and Child Care Providers Loan Repayment Program
Program News (last updated September 14, 2011)

2011-12

The FY2012 appropriation for the Illinois Teachers Loan Repayment Program is $500,000.

Note:  The federal Child Care Provider Loan Forgiveness Program is a demonstration program for which no additional funding has been provided. Consequently, the federal government is not accepting new applicants. Further details are provided within the "Child Care Provider Loan Forgiveness Program" section of the Discharge/Cancellation page at Student Aid on the Web.

Application

The 2011-12 Illinois Teachers Loan Repayment Program application is available to print from the College Zone.  The number of awards each year is contingent on available funding. If funding is insufficient to pay all eligible applicants, awarding will be based on the date the complete application, with all required documentation, is received in ISAC’s Deerfield office.

Refer to the Program Overview, Eligibility Requirements and Application Procedures pages within this section for additional information about the Illinois Teachers Loan Repayment Program.
