MAP - Automated Delivery Process (ADP)
The Monetary Award Program-Automated Delivery Process (MAP-ADP) allows schools to manage MAP information through an electronic process. MAPnet is the Internet application used for electronically processing Monetary Award Program (MAP) and Silas Purnell Illinois Incentive for Access (IIA) grant information through the Automated Delivery Process (ADP). Using MAPnet, schools can perform the following activities:
  • review online or download student eligibility status information;
  • calculate MAP awards (MAPnet performs this function);
  • include appropriate language for the MAP and IIA grants in the institutional award letter;
  • identify the Student Aid Report/Institutional Student Information Record (SAR/ISIR) transaction number on which a payment request is based;
  • create and submit payment requests for MAP and IIA online;
  • review online or download MAP and IIA payment results information;
  • load MAP information into the institutional computer system if necessary; and
  • create and maintain data management reports regarding MAP and IIA information for the institution.

ISAC imports ISIR data into MAPnet from the Central Processing System (CPS) on a daily basis. Data from students that have indicated their school choices on the Free Application For Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) or FAFSA on the Web, is added to the school’s database in MAPnet and can be viewed by the school immediately.

To access MAPnet, go to https://www.mapnet.org/. This will access the ISACnet Home Page where you can select the academic year you want to access and log in to MAPnet.

Helpful Hints

  • MAPnet is designed to be viewed using Internet Explorer 5.0 or 5.5;
  • MAPnet is best viewed using 800 x 600 screen resolution or higher;
  • MAPnet is available from 7:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m. seven days a week; and
  • for optimum printing of screens, set the printing option to landscape.

MAPnet Online Help

MAPnet also has an easy to use Online Help feature that covers MAPnet functions, processing routines and MAP processing code definitions. The Online Help provides a Table of Contents, an Index, and a Search functionality. Refer to the MAPnet User's Guide for more detailed guidance. The MAPnet Payment Results and Reject Codes document (PDF format) can be a handy reference to explain payment results.
