2008-09
IFTC and MTI Initial Certification records for the 2008-09 academic year can completed online and submitted electronically to ISAC via My Zone beginning on April 14, 2008. My Zone is available to enter certification information each Monday through Friday from 7 a.m. until 7 p.m. (CT).
2007-08
The last day to submit a TESP Certification records for the 2007-08 academic year is by the close of business on April 11, 2008.
Awarding for TESP [Illinois Future Teacher Corps (IFTC) and Minority Teachers of Illinois (MTI) Scholarship programs], for the 2007-08 academic year has ended.
Use the filter functionality and pre-defined report that sort by "Status Date" (available within the this area at My Zone) to help identify students who were awarded during the 2007-08 academic year. As a reminder, the "Status Date" matches the date on the student's award letter. Award for the 2007-08 academic year were made on 08/16/2007, 8/24/2007, 9/20/2007, 12/27/07 or 2/12/08.
TESP Certification and Notification
Certification
IFTC and MTI Initial Certification can be completed online and submitted electronically to ISAC with results returned in real-time. In addition, complete and incomplete certifications reports can be generated and viewed online, printed or saved in MS Excel format or Portable Document Format (PDF).
Notification
TESP award notification information for eligible applicants, including funded or unavailable funds status, is available within My Zone. Each time ISAC goes through the awarding process (as funding is available), new eligible applicant information will be added online. By the end of the academic year, a cumulative list will be available of all students who were eligible for a TESP award at a particular school.
