With the addition of the FFELP student-specific data to My Zone, the first report being made available online is the Notification of Student Loan Borrower DAAR Status report or better known as the School DAAR Report.
This report provides the school information to assist in contacting students to counsel them on the importance of repaying their loans. It also provides contact information for the corresponding lender/servicer. Use this report as a cohort default rate reduction tool. ISAC's School DAAR report non-cumulative and is available twice a month to those institutions with students for whom ISAC received a Default Aversion Assistance Request (DAAR) during the reporting time period. Please be aware that a school must notify ISAC if they no longer desire to have the report made available. Conversely, a school must notify ISAC if they'd like the report to be made available.
This report is in the same format as the paper version. The online report is developed in a Rich Text Format (RTF) that allows it to maintain the same format as the paper version (i.e., margins and fonts) when opened in Microsoft Word or WordPad. You can then transfer the data to individual school systems.
It is ISAC’s goal to work with partners to provide repayment, deferment, forbearance, loan consolidation and default aversion information to borrowers. A description of the School DAAR Report and actions a school can take to assist their student borrowers with Default Prevention are also available.
