According to a recent article from CNN, holiday and other family gatherings can be used as a time for students to learn about their history. Looking at photographs and engaging in conversations with older relatives can help children gain a better understanding of who they are. Older children might choose to record discussions with audio or video recorders. Organizing the information that has been gathered will allow family members to enjoy it together.
