College Students Use Cell Phones to Make Movies
11/1/2006

According to an October 30, 2006 article from The Associated Press, Boston University is offering a course where college students produce short movies using only cell phones. The course is being offered through a partnership with the Amp'd Mobile company. A series of short movies, being created throughout the semester by college students, will eventually be distributed by Amp'd Mobile to its cellular customers. While some aspects of making movies remain the same regardless of the media used, cell phones do present unique challenges - for example, they can only capture about 15 seconds worth of footage at a time.

The article is available at the MSNBC Web site.
