The Illinois Association of Financial Aid Administrators (ILASFAA) Training and Professional Development Committee is planning two Mid-Term Workshops for November. These two-day workshops are being offered in partnership with the Illinois Student Assistance Commission (ISAC), and will replace both the Winter Workshop that was previously held in February and the ISAC Fall Seminars for Financial Aid Administrators.
The workshops will be offered at one upstate and one downstate location, with the same sessions being presented at each:

- Federal Science and Mathematics Access to Retain Talent (SMART) Grant and Federal Academic Competitiveness Grant (ACG)
- Higher Education Reconciliation Act of 2005 (HERA) Updates
- Alternative Loans
- Professional Judgment/Independent Overrides
- ISAC Update
- Return of Title IV Funds
- ISAC Electronic Tools
- Online Financial Aid Resources
The cost for the workshops will be $25 for the first person from your institution, $20 for the 2nd, and $15 for each additional staff member.
The hotel rate at Collinsville is $85 a night, and Tinley Park is $95 a night.
