Report Shows Same Skills Needed to Succeed in College and the Workforce
6/8/2006

A recent posting from the American Council on Education (ACE) indicates that, according to a study conducted by ACT, Inc., the skill sets needed to succeed in the workforce are very similar to those that lead to success in college. The "Ready for College and Ready for Work: Same or Different" study shows that all high school students need the same math and language skills, regardless of whether they plan to enter a workforce training program or college.

The posting, which includes a link to the study's full report, is available at the ACE Web site.
